I later realized the title of this entry sounds disturbing. Oops?
Since that one time at the mall with a friend when we bought some fruit juices, I've become quite the fruit juices junkie. I remember that time I asked for... strawberry lemon. She didn't know what to get, but I told her to get peach and banana. Whaddaya know, it was good.
So I decided to try my luck with making the heavenly juices at home.
Here are some recipes:
Strawberry Lemonade -Ripe strawberries will be the base of the juice. Fill the blender cup up to half of it. -Squeeze one big lemon (I use this mutant sized lime instead). -Add not more than three fingers-width of water. -Two medium spoons of sugar. -A lot of ice. -Blend. -Serve. -Enjoy. Enough for two medium glasses.
Strawberry Bananade Note: I make the base of the juice be the strawberries. You could play with this and do the entire opposite. -Red but not completely ripe strawberries. Put in a little less than half of the blender's cup. -Ripe bananas, two. -Add not more than three fingers-width of water. -Two medium spoons of sugar. -A lot of ice. -Blend. -Serve. -Enjoy. Enough for two big glasses.
Cantaloupe Bananade -Chop the cantaloupe into pieces, fill half of the blender cup with them. This will be the base. -Ripe bananas, two. -Add not more than three fingers-width of water. -Two medium spoons of sugar. -A lot of ice. -Blend. -Serve. -Enjoy. Enough for two big glasses.
That's all I've tried so far. I don't like the last one very much, cos I'm not big on cataloupe juice.Feelin': amused Listening to: Nickelback - Shakin' Hands |
