Like any other reasonably sized city, driving in mine is Hell. No one respects the Stops, the lanes, the Streetlights, not even the directions. I told my folks if I can drive here I can drive in China.
The other day I was starting my car in a green light when this dude runs in front out of nowhere. I'm guessing he's daltonic and thought my green was a red, and his time to cross. But still he was crossing in the middle of the road. Thus I braked abruptly so not to run him over (good thing I wasn't crashed from behind) but somehow my thumb hit the steering wheel the wrong way and... It bent backward making this loud CRACK sound that overpowered my blasting rock. As a result I've found myself with the following issues:
-Eating. -Writing. -Typing. -Changing the channels through the remote (for which I'm now using the left). -Drinking anything without a straw (or using my left hand). -Even combing my hair.
Cos guess what? It happened to my right hand thumb, whoopdeedo! And I'm right handed. So yeah, what a challenge.
I remember this one time I broke my middle finger... Now THAT was something.
Yeah, I'm gonna go do anything with my left. It was fun typing this in thrice the amount of time as normally.
